I purchased the R8 after reading many reviews. I'm very impressed with it so far. The accuracy and flexibility of the autofocus is fantastic, a major step forward in comparison to older previous cameras. The option of using the flip screen instead of the viewfinder opens up all kinds of creative possibilities. I am still learning how to properly handle it and so far I am impressed.

Very nice upgrade from my old Canon. I thought it would have a very steep learning curve but it is actually pretty easy to master the basics, especially having had a previous Canon. There are a lot of new things that I still need to take time to explore. The main cool feature on the newer camera is that I can see live on the LCD screen, which my old canon cannot do. Can't wait to experiment more.

This camera has great performance. Amazing stabilization. Ease of use and carry with you anytime anywhere which makes it the perfect travel camera. I love the camera, highly recommended for people who love photography

I’ve been using this camera for 2 weeks now and it’s better than my older DLSR. The camera feels very grippy and relaxed in my hand. I love all of the different options for the camera like it’s automatic sensor cleaner and focus stacking. Absolutely beautiful images and flawless detail! Nothing wrong with it after 2 weeks.

For the price and everything, the truth is very good, the functions it has make it an excellent camera, I miss that it doesn't have a built-in flash but otherwise, quite well.

I'm upgrading as I wanted to go mirrorless and full frame sensor. I am amazed at the auto focus and frame speeds on this so far as I mostly take vacation, wildlife, family pets, and general photography. A few videos here and there but mostly stills. So far everything's working as I except. I'm happy with this purchase and looking forward to learning this R8 and all of its capabilities!

I run a photography business and wanted to upgrade from my T7. I spent months doing research contemplated a Sony, and even Lumix, but right as I was about to drop he money on a Lumix, the R8 was announced and I watched review after review for months! Finally pulled the plug and bought it with an EF-RF adapter to use my already purchased lenses and they all work flawlessly.

Not much to say other than I wish I got one of these sooner. The autofocus capabilities and low light performance are on another level.

Incredible camera for the money. It's light weight and easy to carry around. Takes really nice pictures. We take a lot of pictures of the kids outdoor sports and this combination is working really well. I'm no professional photographer but for our uses its great. If your looking for a nice camera for family photos, kids activities, family vacations the r8 does a nice job.

I wanted a light weight camera that I could take hiking. This one is perfect with enough high end features to take excellent pictures while weighing less than two pounds. Very comfortable to carry and high end enough to suit an experienced amateur photographer.
