This is a beginner friendly camera. And as a beginner myself I'm enjoying learning how to use it. My content quality is much better and I love the perks of being able to upload pictures and videos directly from my camera to my phone. The microphone is great quality.. I use it mainly for video, and the image quality is spectacular, the Performance, focus, and speed are all great.

This is my first camera and after a lot of videos and lots of research, I came to a conclusion that better camera isn’t going to help me take better pictures.. So I decided to go with this one and learn.. few basic lenses and you can do wonders even with an APS-C sensor!

I’m a newbie to the world of photography and this camera was recommended to me by a professional that I know. It seems like a lot of photographers have made the switch to mirrorless cameras, and I thought it was better and more beginner friendly for me to just start here! I had never used a camera other than my cell phone and I was able to set this up and start taking photos without any issue. I’m really looking forward to progressing with this camera. Photos and video comes out better than with my IPhone, even without editing. Auto focus is perfect. I highly recommend it.

As someone who is extremely new to the photography scene, I have been nothing but pleased with the R50. The camera is much smarter than I am when it comes to settings and etc. It’s pleasantly great with low light photography, even with the kit lens. Would 100% recommend for a fellow beginner.

After spending time with the Canon EOS R50, I have to say I do like it. Love both lenses. This has a much snappier auto focus. Photo and video quality is excellent. Overall, I think you get a lot of bang for your buck. Stabilization is great. Auto focus is spot on compared to my other cameras one which frequently misses focusing on pet faces.
