I was always curious about Canon's cameras, after searching, I took the leap on this camera, and I was surprise how comfortable and compact this camera is, specially for my small girlie hands. The 18-45mm makes it a joy using my camera in the city night life, couldn't be more happier. The 75-300mm is taking time to grow on me, but I love the compression is creates. Any amateur girlies who are looking for a great camera, with expensive features, this is the camera for you
I am a beginner automotive photographer. I mainly do outdoor private shoots. I had and old camera for a while it was great to learn photography but I quickly started hitting its limitations. I was looking at either the R50 or this R10 for my next upgrade. I think this was the best decision I made because the R10 has excellent ergonomics with the best autofocus I have ever used. The flip out screen is amazing for selfies and such, it is also great for wildlife and portraits. Overall this camera is a great pick I would skip both the R100 and R50 and go straight to this!
It's really good camera. Easy to use, great feedback when adjusting the non auto modes. I took it on a one month trip after two weeks of buying it. Played with it for maybe 10 hours before we went. The camera works very well. I ended up doing half my shooting in full auto mode and the other half in aperture and manual modes. Could not have asked for a better camera for the price. Photos are great, easy and light to carry, and overall a great camera.
I got this camera for my youtube channel videos. So far it has done well. The kit lens that came with it is surprisingly good I will probably use it with the wide angle lens I plan to get soon, which should be all I need for my uses.
I have used cannon brand cameras for about 3 years now, before I used a DLSR cannon camera that my high school video class had. The transition from that DLSR to this is very similar. Overall it’s a good camera and I’ve been using it for photography and amateur videos for my instagram.
If you are a beginner, the camera has many settings and special effects but can also be used with the A+ automatic setting without diving too much into the operation manual. The user interface, quality of the photos, and quality of the physical camera body and lens are top notch. Great camera overall and super happy with my purchase!
I bought this about a year ago as my first camera. I absolutely love it, and I am so glad I took the leap. For an entry level mirorless camera, it sure feels like a professional feature set. I love using it. Focusing is amazing on this camera and it takes amazing pictures. I love how intuitive the menu and settings are, makes the whole experience for a beginner so much better.
An incredible camera, very good quality materials, lightweight, full of features, great image quality and the auto focus is unbelievable, I am really happy with this purchase, so much better than my brother's nikon
I am not an expert photographer nor even an "enthusiast". I want a camera to bring with me on vacation to get some high-quality shots where my phone just won't do it Images are incredibly sharp and even the included kit lens is no slouch. It's a great little camera that feels really solid in your hands, but doesn't weigh so much as to be a bother. The touchscreen is really responsive. I've found the autofocus to be great, whether with a moving subject or a vista with multiple focus points. This is a great camera, I am really impressed and satisfied by it's functionality.
I am a long-time Canon user and avid photographer/videographer. This is a light-weight camera, thanks to the mirrorless system. There is a people/animal/vehicle tracking feature which I find extremely helpful when shooting. The images you receive will continue to amaze you for years to come. I recommend this item, trust me!
I use these cameras for product photography, but I do a ton of video work and consider it to be primarily for that purpose. I took shots with the electronic shutter running in continuous. I didn't notice any loss of quality with that rapid fire. At 23 shots per second, it's quite impressive. I'm very happy with the performance of this kit lens. I think the biggest plus is how small and light it is. This is a much more compact camera than the 80D, and it's so much more convenient for when I need to change locations. I am glad I got this as an upgrade from my old 80D.
