I bought this for my Alaska trip, and thanks to it that I can bring so many good pictures back. Better than I expected! Super LOVE IT!!
This lens is great when in auto focus you can over ride if you wish and adjust to your liking. Great images from 200-600. I like it better than my 100-400 Sony
Was just what I needed for my sport photography!!! Fits my a7iii like a glove with NO auto focus delay
Now it is my go to lens for birding. I've been using the 100-400GM before, with 1.4x teleconverter. Also used longer Canon primes with Metabones and Sigma adapters. I moved to Canons because of better peak picture quality at farther distances, but autofocus isn't too great. This lens has good AF, 600mm and longer reach with a teleconverter and picture quality of my Canon lenses. I wish they replicated same build quality as 100-400GM, with more metal parts.
Very well built, makes beautiful images with Sony A7r iii. Focusing a bit slower than Canon 300mm f/2.8.
I have 20/20 vision and this thing can see things I probably wouldnt even be able to see with binoculars! This is nothing short of a telescope and incredibly high quality imaging. Maybe one day theyll release a version with even lower aperture!
It is definitely an upgrade on my Tamaron 150-600 mm. It is a quality lens for my Sony 7r III.
Image stabilization is great! When having all this zoom power you need great stabilization if you don’t have a tripod. This lens does not disappoint!
Amazing lens, sharpness on par with the Sony FE 100-400 GM lenses I normally rent out. Autofocus motor keeps up with my Sony A7M3 when I shot motorsports with it, my primary use for this lens. The only thing I wish it had was a lens hood that provides easy access to rotate a polarizer filter like on the GM’s.
