I expected far worse AF performance considering it's just a G lens, but it works just as well as my 70-200 GM as far as I can tell on my A9ii. Great image quality and surprisingly comfortable even handheld.

I have had this lens for a few years now and OH MY GOSH, such a good investment. Perfect for wildlife! The compression at 600mm is 👌. I have never had a problem with the Autofocus, build quality is fantastic, the glass elements look great!

This lens does not inspire buyer's remorse. It does what you expect and want from a lens in this range. If you have a Sony body and want nice reach with crisp pix treat yourself!

Compact for what it does with a great reach. It’s a fantastic telephoto for wildlife or photographing the moon.
