Together with the Canon 24-70 F2.8 MK II, the 70-200 F2.8L IS MK III is one of, or if not, the sharpest non-prime lens that I have ever had experience with. Very fast and accurate focusing. Highly recommended.
I used this lens for sports and lowlight situations and it was phenomenal! Very fast and sharp.
This is a good lens. I have used the same old lens for years and just upgraded the cameral body. I thought I was pleased with everything that came out. The old lens took a little work in software, but I was pleased for a long time, it is tired. I decided to go all out and buy this lens. OMG. I think I like this lens. The color is excellent, the sharpness is excellent. The only thing that I would say against this lens is the weight. This is just the way this lens is. I wouldn't change anything on it and would recommend to get this lens. The cost is a little steep, but worth it.
only reason i did 4 stars is cause theres a weird focus problem with the auto focus back focusing and ending up with a blurry picture. Otherwise you can correct with manual focus, might be defective product i hope not... slightly annoying none the less
this lens is attached at all times. even with the mark iii extenders this lens is amazin'. seriously, you will love it. DO IT... DO IT!
This was to replace my older version of this lens. It feels a little lighter, I love it. Crisp images, great in low light situations. An all around amazing lens from Canon
Everytime I take the card out of my camera and put it into my laptop after using this lens, I'm just in awe. It's alot of money, but I'm so excited to see the photos that come out of this as my skills improve. Have not regretted this purchase for one second. Need to be closer to animals and such then I thought, and it is heavy, but I know for a fact this thing will be a part of me for many many years to come. I've taken some pretty nice landscape photos with this, but man.... the wildlife photos I've gotten with this thing...😍 Wild horses, bald eagles, and mountain goats. All have come out at a wow level. Sooooo pleased. Also love that I can kinda be rough with it, and toss it around a bit and not have to worry. It rides around in my truck or backpack wrapped up in a sweater most of the time lol 10/10
A mid range tele not to be missed
When you love something this much, well I had to write a review. I'm using this lens on a modest SL3 camera and OMG, it produces some of the most amazing pics. I've taken hundreds and the AF is perfect. I dropped the camera three feet onto concrete, thank God it survived, not a scratch. I'll be enjoying this lens come summer in Montreal. Thanks 💕💕💕
This is a fantastic all-purpose lens that I was on the fence about purchasing for a long time. It had a fast focus speed allowing for crisp, clear shots in high speed environments, while also proving itself versatile in both studio or low-light environments. I think this is the best all-around lens Canon has to offer. I consider it a must-have.
