This Lens is absolutely great to shoot with. The Depth of Field between the flowers and background is phenomenal. The focusing speed is tremendously fast. Compare to my other Non L Series Lens. These are the reason why Canon Photographers use these L series Lens. This Lens is Highly recommended if you are getting serious with your photography. I definitely use this lens for Portraits and Sports Photography....
Miles ahead of Mark I, this (heavy) lens is what you'd expect from Canon's top of the line.
Wow! What a lens. This is the first professional lens I have bought and it’s really easy to tell the difference between this lens and the kit telephoto. The sharpness on the lens is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. The only thing I don’t like about this lens is the size but I really can’t complain for the price and quality.
A real workhorse but a bit too heavy
I've been saving for this beast of a lens for a few years and I am very glad I finally have one of my own!
This is a fantastic lens. Focus is super quick, images are sharp, and it’s versatile for everything from portraits to wildlife photography. Have even used it for some landscape and Astro photography though this isn’t the ideal lens for those shots. It is expensive but has become one of only 2 lenses that I carry around for 95% of my photography.
I've waited for some time to get this lens, it's perfect for wildlife and equine sports.
This lens this is👏🏽 the👏🏽 business. If you can convince yourself to put this in your cart and push the purchase button you won’t be disappointed when you open the box. It’s big, heavy, and damn sexy. YouTube Reviews will tell you if you have the Mark II version of this lens you don’t need this one. But I didn’t have any version of this lens so I’m super impressed.
This lens has been that lens I’ve always wanted sense I started photography and it doesn’t disappoint. My photos are crisp and clean. The image stabilization works better then any lens I’ve Bought. The only downside is the weight and bulkiness but that’s to be expected from glass like this. I’d recommend this to any photographer hands down.
If you're shopping for one of these you know. This is the best you can get. Perfect for sports, landscape. f2.8 so it's fast, and the bokeh is awesome.
