Switchable video and photo mode has changed my entire experience as a photo/videographer. Would not trade this ease of use for another camera.

Received the camera early, yeah! A7IV’s auto focus was awesome, the color was NICE and the images were sharp! The low light’s shooting was unbelievable. Good job Sony!

But I have to say that ergonomics is a big part of the camera experience and is sorely lacking in the Sony bodies. There has been incremental improvements along the way, but a Canon R6 still feels far more comfortable and is a joy to hold. The features are great minus the 4k crop, but I guess that could be a positive in certain situations. My two quibbles with Sony is (as mentioned before) the handling and the menu system/touch interface. The biggest plus of owning the Sony cameras is the extensive third party lens selection that is available. The sensor is amazing, the AF is fantastic, and I wanted to realllllly stick with Sony but I the Canon is just lovely to use. It's all about the experience for me, and overall Canon wins in my book.

The product also arrived a day early.
