Ive been using the sony alpha system for quite some time, i started off with a sony a6000 and ive worked my way up to the sony a7iii and with this recent addition to the alpha family i am beyond happy. The auto focus on this camera never misses, i have access to 10 bit slog so i basically always shoot slog3 now, 4k 60 give you impressive quality with a slight crop and using this camera as a web cam is as simple as plug and play
Every thing about this camera is a step up from my A7 iii
No complaints. It has every setting you could think of. Endless features and great zoom lens. I’ve compared to canon and Nikon. Song is number one for me in photography and recently even filming. I’m impressed. This is the quality picture you’d hope for in photos and even quick commercials.
The overheating while recording in 4k 60 is pretty obnoxious. But for it's hybrid abilities it's pretty incredible. The new menu is worth the jump from the A7iii if you're deciding over the A7iii and A7iv.
Spent considerable time reviewing different digital cameras. I have owned and used Nikon film cameras. I own a Canon digital DSLR with several lens. Wanted a mirrorless camera after missing many actions shots due to mirror action on my Canon. Reviewed a number of cameras. Decided on the Sony A7IV. Still learning how to use this wonderful camera. Very complex and it has a LOT of features. Bought the SEL24-105 lens. This camera has a lot of potential. Recommend.
I’m new to photography so take this with the grain of salt if you’re an avid photographer but I love this camera. My brother bought a Sony Alpha 7 III and I thought it was super cool what he could do with it. This led me to purchasing the Alpha 7IV. An expensive camera but it has a lot of capability especially with state of the art auto focus. Definitely a pro for someone learning to to shoot manual.
It takes great pictures. Menu is well set up, easy to get used to. I use it with the Sony 24-70mm G-Master lense and will stay with Sony native lenses clearer shots. Great you can change all the button functions to match what you want them to be. If your thinking of buying it you should be as happy as me. P.S there is nothing wrong wrong with the memory card slot door like others say. They just don't know how to use it. It's so simple. SMHv

This is a very versatile system, it's really quick with lots of options, it works really well with the Imaging Edge app, overall this is a great tool to have for any hybrid shooter out here.
Incredible camera, every image is as close to perfect as you can get.
I mainly use the Sony A7 IV for recording my YouTube video and it's a noticeable difference over my last camera. The autofocus never misses and the vides are very detailed even in low light environment. I'm very glad I upgraded and I will be suing this camera for many years to come.
