I love this camera for its low light shots and amazing auto-focus (I use auto-focus almost exclusively). It's also compact - this was important to me for portability and size concerns. And it takes fantastic photos in all settings I've tried so far. The menus are a little confusing (a common refrain among Sony customers) - for eg it took me a while to figure out how to change the aperture! But the functionality is all there if you can find it. This is the first camera I've had that has a silent shutter option (love this) as well as transferring photos via bluetooth and wifi to my phone (also great, esp for sharing photos and instagram). The battery life hasn't been terrible yet, but I haven't taken it out for long shoots yet (and I don't do video anyway). I got an extra battery (which I never needed with my very old Canon DSLR) just in case but haven't had to use it yet. A little lame that it doesn't come with a battery charger - you have to use a USB cord to charge the battery while it's in the camera. But aside from this, I'm loving my first Sony!
The quality is pretty good, I have changed my for this one, I was always wanting and I finished gotten .

Camera is absolutely amazing cannot wait to star recording in 4k!
It is the best camera for traveling and general photography, not comparable with a smartphone and with much more details. I’ve choose the 18-55mm lense kit and works pretty well. The only reason of my choice is its capability to shoot 11fps. Specially for sporting events.
This is simply one of the best cameras on the market including the likes of the whole Canon or Nikon lines. For my family portrait work I see no reason to change to a full frame sensor system. This camera has it all. It is now my primary camera for portraits and my older Sony a6500 has become my backup.
I’ve been using this since the first day I got it and really surprised how good is this camera! I’m using this for my content. I’m happy with the result (photos)
It arrived in one piece. Everything works on it. I'm a happy camper.
My first mirrorless camera and it’s amazing. It’s no slouch. Takes amazing pictures, videos and the autofocusing is also great. Took a little time to navigate the menus and learn how to get it setup the way I needed it to be but afterwards to use it’s a breeze. I wouldn’t call it the greatest at low light but it gets the job done. It’s also great for streaming via use of an El Gato Camlink. For run and gun vlogging however it might be shaky due to no IBS. I’d definitely recommend a lens with OSS. Other than that, there’s not much to say but to let the pictures show you what it can do coming from an amateur.
The Sony A6400 speaks for itself but I'm especially delighted by the extra lens and acessories.
