Really great camera for wildlife. The crop factor (extra reach), excellent auto-focus, & 11fps all scream wildlife camera. The lack of true weather sealing and small body are definitely a bit of an issue, but really small considering what this camera can do . Paired with the Sony 200-600 G this setup is a dream. The sensor is not the most recent, but the processor is updated from older models. I think the IQ is excellent. It's not an A9, but plenty sufficient for even quite large prints.
This is a very capable camera that can do great in both stills and videos that comes with a decent kit lens. Very good camera for those who are trying to get in the field of photography and videography. No in body stabilization so need to use a lens that has OSS or gimbals. Autofocus excellent Picture quality excellent
SOY DE ECUADOR ME LLEGO MUY BIEN, MUCHAS GRACIAS :-)
After purchasing both cameras, I chose this over the A7III (with Tamron 28-75 2.8). Coupled with the Sigma Prime Trio of 1.4 lenses, the A6400 takes amazing pictures. This combo has better low light performance and better depth of field/separation, for a lot less money.
It's not designed for extended video recording but it will allow it. That's all I use for: 5-10 hour nonstop videos. The lens is quite excellent although it will reset its focus if you shut the camera off... no manual focus switch.
Pros: Compacta, Ligera, fácil navegación por menú, enfoque, alta calidad. Contras: Estabilización podría ser mejor, no buen diseño de la pantalla abatible (si eres del mundo de las selfie)
Love this camera. Size is great. Image quality great. Features rich. There is no image stabilizer so you have to use lenses that are or better use a tripod. Particularly like the size as I can fit it in my Lowepro bag with my MP2. And 2 GoPro with mounts and small tripods.
So, SO amazing! I came from a Sony A6000 looking for an upgrade, and BOY I got one! I was just impressed with the flip-up screen (self portraiture is so easy now) but the silent shutter, date-grouping photos, touchscreen, and less batter consumption just top it off. One of the best investments I’ve ever made!
I bought this camera as a back up/ walking around camera. Its a fantastic entry level Sony. If you're doing portraits in particular, this one is fantastic as the Eye-AF is outstanding. It doesn't have In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) but my old nikons never had that either, so it isn't much of a loss for me. It is odd getting used to the side-mounted viewfinder, but these camera are designed to be used with the LCD. Overall, excellent for the price. Fantastic if you're planning on vlogging.
Love my new Sony camera. This is my first more professional camera, so I don’t have much to compare to, but both my pictures and videos are fantastic. I bought it mainly to take action pictures of my yoga practice and while traveling. There are a ton of menu/setting options, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help configure them.
