I love this camera so so much, it is definitely the best quality and bargain deal that you can find for a mirrorless camera. As a novice videographer, this does everything that I could ask for and more. I think experienced users would also appreciate the thought and design that went behind this camera! If you have the budget, I would 100% recommend this.
This is a fantastic camera. The AF is superb, the image quality is great, the EVF is very nice. If you have image stabilized lenses, you can save some money by foregoing the A6600 for this camera. It's a bargain at its price. Highly capable, with a wide assortment of lenses to use with it.
This Sony A6400 is my only camera and so far it's growing on me. This is coming from someone who has worked with high end cameras. It's not perfect but it's a lot better than many cameras I used.
I mostly use this camera for streaming and it works great! I also took it outside and took some shots of of 2 year old. Most of those pics came out great as well! I just have to learn a bit more about the camera.
I've been happy to switch from my Canon 6D Mark i to this camera: it's smaller, lighter and I don't hesitate to take it with me. The auto-focus is quick, the video 4K looks great. The buttons ergonomics could be a little better, but that's also the reason why Sony limits this camera and offer full frames cameras with more updates.
Sony produces the best mirrorless cameras and this was a nice entry level for me to pick up.
I absolutely love how compact this camera is to use! I solo travel a lot and it’s perfect for capturing all my memories. The functions on this camera are endless so be sure to read the user guide! Sony’s app is s little wonky to set up with your mobile phone but once you use it a few times it’s pretty easy.
Its a very good camera so far. Hope it lasts! When I get a good lens for night ima try to retake a picture of that tree. Its my all seeing eye tree Looks better in the star light :)
Was looking for an upgrade from my a6000 and man this camera is a beast. With Sony's latest technology the difference between these two cameras is night and day. Colors are improved, autofocus game is way strong, build is nice and solid and the flip screen is a nice change.

The Sony a6400 took my breath away. As soon as I took the first picture, I knew this camera would be my main for years to come. I highly recommend it.
So far my best and longed-for purchase, I loved the kit, the camera is more than obvious (it has incredible quality, but that can be verified by looking at the features), everything arrived super well and well maintained, with all its things. It's really worth every penny
I loved this camera the minute I put my hands on it. It is very compact, a good grip on the hands, and just a clean looking camera. The camera quality is really good and the kit lens is not bad at all! Great on lowlight and overall a great camera. The video quality is also amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking into photography/videography.
Camera arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Learning to use all the features and menus is great fun. Quality of product is excellent and could not be more pleased. Have downloaded online help menus which were very helpful. Auto focus and picture stabilization work great.
Honestly, I love this camera because it’s compact, easy to carry, easy to use and it's comfortable. Great for traveling! It has great 4k video capability, incredible still shooting ability I’m a beginner with cameras and it get me excited to learn more about this camera. Highly recommend!
The kit arrived on time, and as described. The accessories are awesome. The a6400 is amazing. The auto focus is blazing fast, the image quality is crystal clear. The feature list is extensive, and the little things add up to make a fantastic package. The flip over screen, the ergonomics, the option for power or manual zoom.... the list goes on.
The image quality was crisp and colorful. I was so impressed that I usually left my bulky expensive lens in my cabin. This is the quality that I expect from the Sony name! It captures all of my subjects with perfection! Although it’s not the easiest to learn to use it takes crisp and clear pictures.! Good price good quality
We decided on a new dedicated family camera to use for the next 5 years. Amazing camera at an awesome price point. Sonys emount system is great and the amount of tutorials online leave all features accessible to anyone looking to learn.
So I had to ask my son which camera was best and he told me Sony. Then proceeded to advise on this one as it was his 1st and he really liked it. He is now on his 3rd Sony, only upgraded. It will take me awhile to learn all the functions but so far, great camera.
There is nothing like this camera. The picture and video quality is top notch but the auto-focus is lighting fast. Compact and lightweight makes it easy for hand carrying and vlogging. Low light capability is outstanding and it's EVF is simply marvelous. It's fairly easy to pick up by a beginner photographer/videographer (such as myself) as well as the ability to hang with the pros.
This is a fantastic little camera. I had been roaming around with a Nikon D7000, and it got to be too heavy for my outdoor adventures. I wanted a good travel camera, and this thing ticked all the boxes. I've been using it for two years and I really love it every this about this camera. I wish it had built in mechanical stabilization for video but I use it mainly for pictures and its amazing, great and fast autofocus, amazing variety of settings and amazing build quality!
I originally planned to use this for streaming, but the more I played around with it the more I fall in love with this camera. The 4k video is great for my Youtube content. I really have zero complaints. This camera is not for noobs like me, I bit off more than I can chew. However, there are dozens of videos online on how to make this camera do whatever you can think of, so it hasn't been a struggle at all.
This is my first more professional camera, so I don’t have much to compare to, but both my pictures and videos are fantastic. I bought it mainly to take action pictures of my yoga practice and while traveling. There are a ton of menu/setting options, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help configure them.
