It’s okay for a mirrorless beginner camera, I still find my shots are a bit grainy. Otherwise it’s lightweight and the battery life is pretty good for my first road trip. I’ll definitely be spending more on the lenses.
Moved from Canon 5D dslr to this for more portability and man do I love this camera. Currently only have the Sony 10-18 f4 zoom and will expand the lens selection a little soon but it’s great Get one
Couldn’t find anything to complain about. I love it. I’m sure there’s photophiles that can pinpoint the pros and cons better than I, but as a beginner stepping into the world of cameras, research as pointed me here and I don’t regret it one bit.
A super great camera, from build to ease of use and picture quality. If you don't get great results with this camera you are doing something wrong. I have 2 nikon dslrs, a D5500, a D610 & this is the camera I use most of the time. I just love using this camera and the consistent results I get. If you are considering this camera and can afford the price, just buy it!
Replaced an a6000 with this. I like improved features. The high ISO noise, although better than a6000 it is not stellar. Perhaps limited by the fact that is is APSC. Solid feel otherwise. Like the full customizability of every button. Love the FAST eye auto focus.
Great camera but my only complaint is that it doesn't work consistently for remote shooting from your phone with the app. It tends to disconnect randomly or fail to connect in the first place even when you're using NFC.
I recorded a few videos right after getting the camera and the auto focus and video quality is superb. It is probably one of the best purchases for someone who doesn't want to spend thousands of dollars on a cinema quality camera but still wants a really good deal on a high end camera with alot of bells and whistles. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
I will use this for landscapes, night shots and candid shots. It's light and small, sharp pics. It's going to take some time to get use to the manual side of shooting. The menu is deep...
Besides getting used to the Sony Menu format, this camera is AMAAAAAAAAAZING (in my best Huel Howzer Voice). I've been a die hard Canon fan, but not anymore. I ordered the body by itself and then purchase it with Rokinon 12mm F2 manual lens and the Sony G Lens 18/105 F4. RAV power extra batteries. So far I keep getting impressed by this camera and it's capabilities.
