This is one of few APS-C that does eye AF for humans and animals, which is exactly what I need and why I bought it. I wanted a camera that's small and lightweight for taking pictures of my dog on the walk/hike. Yeah, this is my 'dog cam'. Without IBIS can be an issue for some but most of my lenses either have the build-it image stabilizer or prime lenses with f1.4/1.8 wide open aperture, so getting reasonable shutter speed is relatively easy. The high ISO performance of this camera is only mediocre. Surprisingly, I think Sony's menu system is great. I use the customized menu most of the time but I also never had issues finding a setting from the menu system, at least it's not better/worse than Nikon and Canon, and it is a lot less confusing compared to Fuji's menu, which is the worst IMO.
6400 is a beast. Focus modes make composing your shots easy very. Its sticks on the subject very well. This camera is a perfect all around camera but the object tracking makes sports photography very easy. Compare to every other camera I have used. And of course eye AF is amazing in sony cameras. Video records no limit and does not over heat at all what more do you want in that area lol

A minor issue is that the software is not available for Mac computers. Everything else is just as advertised.
For a crop sensor without IBIS this is an exceptional camera. The motion tracking auto focus is incredible. I use the a6400 at 135mm for our church sermon live stream. It works perfect.
This is my second camera, really worth buying both for take photo and video, especially for a starter. My friend thought the quality of the photos were really amazing

Auto focus is great. I am still learning the advanced features of the camera. I like the weight of the camera and the fact it is metal and not plastic. The led screens ability to turn so you can see the selfie is great.
We are Canon users and this is our first Sony Camera...My husband reviewed and researched before making a decision and we love it so far...we do have to "learn" Sony but besides that we feel that we made a great decision purchasing this piece of equipment.
