I’ve been looking for travel camera for while - and this is it. The A7iii with the Tamron 28-75 has been on a few trips, but it’s just too big to stick in a carry-on backpack. The a6400 with the 16-70 f4 and the 35mm oss is my new “go everywhere” set up (I must have got a good copy of the 16-70, no issues at all with it). Image quality and colors are a good match to the A7iii, and (so far) I haven’t missed taking the smaller set-up. I also picked up the Sigma 16mm, and the focus is just as fast as a native Sony lens. The only real issue I have with the camera is the bad battery life.
Just an incredible camera. I bought it with the 18-135mm and the image quality comes out of this thing is fantastic. I upgraded from the sony A5100 and the focus speed on the a6400 is much faster. The EVF is great to have in bright sun light condition and it helps the shooting experience even better. I did not test the eye focus for too long but it works pretty well when it tracks person’s eyes. The Menu is pretty similar to the A5100 but I like the “My Menu” section which lets you put the camera setting options that you like. All the dial and customization buttons are great to use coming from the A5100 as they make it faster to switch to other camera options.
Got this camera to take photos and video for my kids. coming from an old 6 Megapixel Pentax K100D camera for photos and 1080 60P Panasonic TM700 camcorder for video this is a huge upgrade for me. photo are much sharper, AF is so fast and accurate. and 4k video......two in one body and so much higher quality on video and photo..........gonna have lots of fun this summer
Got this camera to take photos and video for my kids. coming from an old 6 Megapixel Pentax K100D camera for photos and 1080 60P Panasonic TM700 camcorder for video this is a huge upgrade for me. photo are much sharper, AF is so fast and accurate. and 4k video......two in one body and so much higher quality on video and photo..........gonna have lots of fun this summer
This thing is great, worth every penny! It continues to impress me everyday, and with each lens added to it, it does more and more. For an amateur to intermediate photographer, you couldn't ask for more in a camera. The cropped sensor does make finding appropriate focal length lenses a bit of a pain, but there is a lot of selection out there, so it's not impossible!
We love the camera. Its small and light and has the features of high end cameras with a fracture of the price.
The camera works great, high quality. You do need some additional parts for efficient live streaming. Would recommend getting an additional lens other than the base kit lens.
Everything seems good about the camera. We received it within a week. Satisfied with the purchase the only thing is that the camera didn't have a seal on it when we received it.
Amazing product, Fits all the needs for a beginner/ advanced user, highly recommend.
