This camera handled the widest range of lighting situations. Shooting photos of a sunrise, sunset, mid-day or in-doors was truly a delight. Hand-held, low-light photos were amazing and hassle free. I am beyond impressed with this camera
Autofocus is great, and low-light shots are amazing. This is a great option for "advanced" hobbyists who don't want to splurge for a pro camera. Again, I'm not a pro, but am impressed with the "night" image quality.
Been using it for a few months now, and I am so pleased with this camera. This is a camera you learn to use but also adapt to yourself. The camera is so easy to navigate the menus. I no longer do much editing on the computer anymore, it’s surprisingly quick to NEF process on the camera and then send to my iPhone for sharing. I hope you enjoy the ride and opportunity. I know I have.
Nikon provided a series of strong updates to the original Z6 firmware, especially with the addition of eye (subject) detection that made it a much stronger camera over time. Image quality is outstanding, burst processing is dramatically improved, and the buffer is much deeper allowing you to capture live-action shots at a faster rate. This alone may be worth the upgrade for many photographers.
I love the camera and the quality and have used it for several graduation shoots but I use it mainly to take pictures of landscapes. This is a great camera for people who want to get into the mirror less camera’s without spending a ton of money
I find using this camera to be an enjoyable experience. I like the overall design of the body and button layout. I like the auto focus, touch screen and image quality. I will be mainly using this camera for portrait, landscape, nature and macro photography.
It is a well built very nice handling camera that makes you want to take pictures. Paired with Z f/4 24 to 70 lens it is an excellent camera being easy to handle and relatively compact. This camera produces excellent out of camera jpgs and, with the improved autofocus, it is easy to get tac sharp pictures.
What I like about this camera is it's high quality weather proofed body that handles well. It produces excellent images and having 2 card slots is a nice improvement over the Z6/Z7. It's Z lenses is high quality. You have easy access to most features via a touch screen with well designed menus and most of all it has good low light performance.
Everything works perfect. I'm thrilled with the object tracking feature, it tracks and focus the subject perfectly without getting distracted with nearby objects. This machine is a beast, it's sturdy, reliable, precise, elegant. Affordable if you compare it to any full frame Sony with the same specifications. So if you are not a pro, please read the manual, it makes a huge difference.
This is my first Nikon full frame camera. I compared it with old Canon cameras I have. This camera is excellent across the board. Autofocus is fast and on point. The eye detection for both pets and humans works well. The eye detection for both pets and humans works well. The sensor has low noise at high ISO and the built in image stabilization on the sensor will bring your photos to a new level of focus
