The Z6 II is a nice upgrade. It is a well built and very nice handling camera that makes you want to take plenty of pictures. This camera produces high resolution photographs especially with the improved autofocus and when it's paired up with the excellent quality Z lenses. Easy access to most features via a touch screen with well designed menus. Overall I love this camera and will recommend it to anyone.
I'm not a pro, but am impressed with the "night" image quality. Autofocus is great, as well as touch screen, image quality and low-light shots are amazing. I find using this camera to be an enjoyable experience. I like the overall design of the body and button layout. I will be mainly using this camera for portrait, landscape, nature and macro photography. This is a great option for "advanced" hobbyists who don't want to splurge for a pro camera
I love everything about this camera. It is easy to use, lightweight and has great image quality! This is a great camera for people who want to get into the mirror less camera’s without spending a ton of money. I love the camera and the quality and have used it for several graduation shoots but I use it mainly to take pictures of landscapes.
I'm fairly new to photography and only have had an older D3300 to compare this to. So far, it's taken really great pictures. I like how the controls are very easy to use and very intuitive. The real time view finder is great. The image quality is great! I like how I can use all of the older F style lenses with the adapter. The kit lens is pretty decent overall.
Been using it for a few months now, and I am so pleased with this camera. This is a camera you learn to use but also adapt to yourself. I got to a point where I can do just about anything I want on it with quick finger movements, minimal futzing, and my eye almost never leaving the viewfinder if I so desired. What’s interesting, is the camera is so easy to navigate the menus with, that I no longer do much editing on the computer anymore. I feel blessed with this product.
I am beyond impressed with this camera. Hand-held, low-light photos were amazing and hassle free. Shooting photos of a sunrise, sunset, mid-day or in-doors was truly a delight. This camera handled the widest range of lighting situations.
As a previous Nikon owner Nikon for once provided a series of strong updates to the original Z6/Z7 firmware, especially with the addition of eye (subject) detection that made it a much stronger camera over time. The sensors in this camera help me to focus and create sharp images in low lighting! I love it!
First of all, image quality is outstanding but the processing is dramatically improved, and the buffer is much deeper allowing you to capture live-action shots at a faster rate (14 fps if you use 12-bit not 14-bit RAW), and many more shots. This alone may be worth the upgrade for many photographers. All-in-all a very worthwhile upgrade for me from the original Z6
My hobby includes still life photography in addition to landscape and architecture. I also venture on portraitures and both the Z series comes in very handy. Love it! I’m an avid consumer of Nikon products starting from the SLR and transcend to DSLR, now the mirrorless Z series. Actually I owned and still possess 9 cameras all together and this camera has beat them all!
Very nice camera ..it takes fantastic pics. The picture quality is amazing. The touch screen is definitely the best I've used on a mirrorless/dslr camera. I would recommend it more than anything to current Nikon DSLR shooters that want to switch to a mirrorless system.
I was hesitant when the mirrorless camera's were released but after giving it some thought and reading reviews I jumped on it. Best decision ever, I love it. In fact, I am thinking of trading in my NikonD500 just to get another mirrorless camera. Auto focus is great, eye focus works well. I'm VERY happy with this camera.
The Nikon Z6 II is an excellent camera in every regard but its low-light performance is absolutely incredible. I was amazed at the images I was able to make at Atlanta’s Georgia Aquarium recently. Despite very low, indirect light and the fact that I was shooting hand-held, I got a number of tack-sharp captures. It’s a terrific photographic tool.
