I am a professional photographer. There were many considerations to take into mind when I made this purchase. Originally I truly wanted to purchase the D800. I opted for the 7500 due to budget issues. I had already purchased a nice piece of glass for this format so I decided to move forward with this purchase. I love my new camera. It's processor is awesome, the buttons and screen displays are awesome, and this is gonna sound super geeky but even the shutter sounds amazing. There are specs that every photographer must consider when purchasing a camera.I feel this camera is a great choice for anyone needing an upgrade. I love the two memory slots included as well. You can direct which files go to which memory card. I believe I made the right choice. Had I had more money to spend I would have purchased the D800 and a glass to complement it even more, yet with my budget in mind I could't be any happier with my purchase.
I've only had this camera for less than 2 weeks but I already love it. My first DSLR is a Nikon D40 when I moved up from a Nikon Coolpix. I really enjoyed the D40 but after 7 or 8 years it was time to move up to a higher model. Yes, I know the D7500 is newer but I do have a budget to stay within. I debated about the D5300 vs D7500 and finally settled on the D7500 . All the new features overwhelmed me right at first as I wasn't getting sharp pictures after comparing it against the D40. Turns out I had some settings set wrong. Now I love it. I'm still getting used to all the new features for being able to quickly change ISO, shooting modes, etc. It's bigger than my D40 and heavier but it feels good to hold and it's quite comfortable. I don't regret getting it at all. Since I've only had it a couple weeks, I can't really find anything I don't like about it.
Just came back from a 2 week photo journey using this camera all day - it meets or exceeds my expectations in every way. But, most importantly of all (and admittedly subjectively), the sharpness and clarity of the photos seem to exceed any of my previous dSLRs (D2X, D300, D7000)
I have owned 6 digital camera's; this one puts all, others to shame. It is the most fantastic camera that I have ever used, and the picture quality, at 24 megapixels is breathtaking. I have been taking pictures forever, and have taken thousands of photographs from around the world. It was like starting all over again when I purchased this camera. I had never been able to capture the quality that I am witnessing with this beautiful state of the art piece of equipment. Most reviews wind up giving all kids of comparisons of numbers that pertain to the ISO, shutter speeds, manual verses automatic focus, etc. but I am telling you that the most important feature of any Camera comes down to ease of use, and quality of the pictures taken.
You will not be disappointed with this camera. I guarantee you will be repeating the word WOW, over and over when you see the finished product hanging on your wall for all to see.
So really this is an amazing camera, you have access to a massive library of lenses thanks to the built in focus motor and the refurbished price is not far above a new D3300 or even D5500 - you can't go wrong here.
I received this package with everything included, nothing is missing and it arrived in 4 days !
I have the D5100, and used for over a year, it has taken great pictures. During that time frame it had the same problem twice and both times I had to ship out for repair. It was hard to function with a camera, so I purchase a second camera the D7500 . I find myself using it for 90 precent of the pictures I have take today. I still have a lot to learn about this camera, I fill I am still a beginner in photography, but with the D7100 I fill I can achive the next level sooner that later. The D7100 is very quit, on my first use of the camera I thought it was broken, but when I looked to see if any pictures had been taken and everyone taken was there. Although the camera is a little heavy, I like the fill of it.
I'm amazed at the sharpness of the pictures I take with this Nikon D7500, every picture is so crisp and sharp.
I recently purchased the Nikon D7500 and I'm genuinely satisfied with my decision. The camera performs exceptionally well, and I feel I got great value for my money.
