Absolutely love this camera! My package came a day earlier than it suggested it would so that's awesome I got to play around with it before I shot with it. Amazing functions and all of the accessories listed came with it as well.
Amazing product for an amazing price.
Just a slight heavy when you are new to holding cameras eventually it will feel more light. Takes some really good photos . Filters are great .
I bought this for the 2.8 kit lens, (Nikon has priced at separately at $1000 - unbelievable), and got the camera with the lens, per se. That said, I'm not disappointed at all! This was a nice upgrade from my D7100.
Cons: (first - you'll see why) -The Pv button is missing! Ouch Nikon - why!? (this is the button that allows you to see through the aperture the camera will use for the picture - and thus the depth of field for such). Instead it's replace by another custom function button. -The other function buttons have a limited array of features they can be attached to. -Still no USB charging -1 SD Card slot, instead of 2 that I'm used to having - one for photos, other for video (or redundancy) Pros: -Camera was so much lighter than the D7100 I thought I got ripped off -Upgraded speed on the insides of the unit -Better low light ISO (awesome for indoor castle photography) -Touchscreen that articulates, nice feature, used only a couple times on the vacay -Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity! (no add-on unit required) -Remote shutter release using your smartphone - and YOUR PHONE CAN SEE WHAT THE CAMERA SEES - SWEET BUSINESS! Take the guesswork out of 'where to stand' when shooting yourself-with-family with a tripod! (via Snapbridge app) -Snapbridge app on your smartphone shares gps data so the camera can stamp such into the photos. It also captures pics to your smartphone as you roam around via bluetooth - this is particularly an awesome surprise! Camera and iPhone battery usage was not effected much at all.
I'm glad I bought a sweet lens - which I failed to mention at all. I was so impressed with the D7500 that the pros (IMO) completely outweigh the cons. This camera is available with many kit lenses - shop around - get this kit with the f/2.8 lens. It's a great all around workhorse lens and the whole reason I bought the kit.
I actually bought this kit to get the lens and the camera was a nice bonus! I own a D300 and purchased a D500 about a year ago. I passed up buying it with a kit lens and realized that the Nikkor 16-80 would round out my collection of Nikkor glass perfectly since it is made for the DX format. It is a great walk-around/event lens, focuses well on D500 and great on the D7500 set in AF-A mode. The D7500 has most of the features of the D500 and will make a great second (or third if I carried the D300 with me!) camera in my bag. This combo is a great buy for an amateur who wants to move closer to a prosumer setup. The D7500 (like the D500) works well with all DX and FX lenses that I own. Very pleased with my purchase!
I just received my camera and I have to say that this thing is amazing! This camera looks and feel strong, sharp and professional! The image quality is awesome!!! I love it!! 0n the other hand I am very satisfied with this seller, the shipping was super fast and secure, the camera and lens that I bought is Nikon original with plenty warranty and all accessories included. Thank you very much !
It works great for my needss
