Loving this new full frame mirrorless camera. Focusing is kind of meh and having to rely on lenses for image stability is a strike, along with cropped video. Apart from that it’s been working great for my needs. Like the smaller megapixel size so the files are more manageable and the pics look great. Interface is aok. Glad I can use all my L series lenses with the adapter which does add some bulk.
We absolutely love this camera we have a canon 80D and was set that we wouldn’t go mirrorless. Safe to say we’ll be selling the 80D SOON
I finally took the plunge to update my camera game from my older Canon 60D to this EOS RP - and I'm glad a made the move! Now I just need to be prepared to make more/save more money so I can add on to this expensive photography hobby.
BUMMER. So when we put this battery grip on, we now have to remove it to swap the memory card. This is a deal breaker. Test ran the RP this past weekend. Some great and not so great things about it. BUT, if you are not planning on getting a battery grip, and are new to photography, this is one heck of nice Cadillac to drive. If you want a Corvette, get the R.... If you don't care about money, get the R5.
When buying a bundle, it is important to do your research. For what I was looking for, this one has been absolutely great at a decent price.

This is by far the best bang for your buck DSLR period . Full frame mirrorless with great low light . I have mine matched with a old ef 50 mm (1.4) lens . It is awesome shooting in New York City with .

This is the best deal you can find if you already own EF lenses. This camera was given a bad rap which keeps the price down. The camera works beautifully and has wonderful features!
Switched from a 7D to this RP and I am totally convinced. Lightweight as expected. Happy to see Canon improvements in 7 years (charger, screen, WiFi, Bluetooth). Battery could have been better (but I guess it’s the price to pay for a lightweight device!)
