I don’t really know anything about cameras so I can’t tell you all the fancy specs and fancy words.. But I can tell you that it gets the job done and is user friendly. The starter lens isn’t that great but it did get me a few photographer gigs. I suggest you work towards getting a better lens for the future after you learn how to use your camera. :)

Fantastic feel, image quality and I love raw. Not too fast, but dam! Well worth the wait!
I worried about the smaller size before purchasing, so I got the additional grip. Although the camera is larger than I expected, I still need the grip to hold the body comfortably. I haven't tried any large lenses yet, but the jpegs and raw files really were incredible. No need to use the histogram or spot metering to nail exposure even in backlight situations. I shoot stills and manual focus. Using the EVF provided a pleasant experience manual focusing in bright sunlight. So the negative reviews are unfortunate and even wrong given my experience.

This camera is amazing. I use it almost exclusively with vintage glass. Nikon, Leica, Takumar, Helios and so on. I even mount an old Meyer Optik Gorlitz to the camera and with the variety of adapters out there, they all work. Of course you need to set the camera to manual but thats half the fun. All manual allows your artist to come out. Set the cameras MF Peaking feature to enable and change one parameter to allow the shutter to function without a lens and your good to go. With the 24-105 RF lens, the focusing is great and the lens is absolutely whisper quiet. That is great for videos. All in all a great camera
Received my EOS RP and was very pleased with it. It feels excellent in the hand and feels a like a high quality peice of work. The dials move easily yet not such that at the slightest touch it would change selections. I plan to take a lot of pics and so purchased extra batteries as well. Use in for animation and it’s great
Vengo de el sistema micro 4/3 Panasonic GX9 preferí el sistema por lo compacto y ligero para cargar con él a donde voy. Siempre había querido un formato Full Frame sin embargo las cámaras Reflex Full Frame son demasiado grandes y pesadas. Hasta ahora decido probar el formato Full Frame con esta EOS RP y vaya sorpresa es más ligero que mi cámara Panasonic GX9, en cuánto a la calidad de imagen es sabido que Canon es muy buena también, Regreso a la marca Canon desde que tuve mi última Canon 40D. Encontrándome también gratas sorpresas en cuanto a actualización del menú de canon, que antes era demasiado básico y aburrido.
