I tried a Nikon z5 from BB and it had major focusing and focus hunting issues. Returned it and bought this Canon R6 from Amazon with a 24-105 F4 L lens. This camera grabs focus quick, has excellent image quality, and easy to grasp menu. The manual setup is by default placed nicely so settings are easily adjusted. I think this one will be my go to camera for a few years. I may even grab a second one later for backup.

I've only had this camera for a week now yet I can tell the quality is exceptional. I don't have a bunch of lenses with any brand so it took a great bit of time before choosing the Canon eos r6 over a Sony a7iv, mainly due to limited recording time and overheating (received firmware to mitigate) yet of course this would happen on any laptop under a heavy workload as well. At least the option is there if you want to record 4k video at 60fps in full view. Part of the reason as well is the great deal of weather sealing put into the design. The 20fps shutter speed with AF capability, and tit for tat on everything else other than MP ( which is hardly worth noticing compared to a 1.5x crop)... I'd say most photo and light editing software can sharpen the difference in most cases where it's negligible. When it boils down to it, I felt the Canon had greater features overall. I don't take long video shoots for my video editing yet instead piece my clips together so for the price, it's a whole lot of camera with feature rich options. A great job well done.

I mostly take photos for church, but I’m hoping to start taking photos for pay on the side. I upgraded from the Rebel T7/2000D to the R6 and I’m floored. The auto eye tracking has helped me have the clearest and most in focus photos, even when I’m snapping them quickly. Very happy with this purchase.

This camera will probably be my last new camera. The combination of the fastest autofocus of any full frame mirrorless camera, intuitive controls, amazing ISO settings, weight, dual memory card slots, and ability to use all of my EF lenses makes this the best digital camera I have ever had.

images are super clean. camera feels great and operates flawlessly.

Love the auto focus and IBIS. I'm still learning this camera but so far it far exceeds my expectations. The human and animal eye focus is remarkable. The IBIS helps me capture video with much less motion.

The camera is bigger than I am use to coming from using DLSRs, especially old film cameras. The image stabilization and the autofocus are amazing. I have never used an autofocus that was as fast as it is on this camera. I really appreciate the flip out LCD screen and its ability to flip it around. It makes selfies and self video work a lot easier. I highly recommend this camera. I would strongly look at refurbished cameras if I were going to do it again.

Amazing camera! I'm a professional pet photographer and spend a lot of time photographing action shots and the eye tracking on this thing is amazing! It still has some "bulk" to it, like a DSLR, which I like. I bought another one as a backup after I realized how much I liked the first one :)

For while I held onto my eos r based off the megapixel count alone and already having it I didn't see the point in making a lateral jump... fast forward to now and I am so glad I did. love the autofocus and the colors coming out of this camera. While I do edit all my images I am closer to the correct color straight out of camera vs having to try to get to the colors I like with my R. I also love the dual card slots I don't always use them (never had them with the R) but it's nice to have the option on some elopements I shoot, moving forward.

The R6 works incredibly well for my birding hobby. The eye tracking AF is soo good it's hard to believe. The kit lens is really good too.
