It's a solid camera

I come from an 80D and all I can say is.. I'm impressed. quite a piece of engineering. this camera is FAST. I'm amazed by the subject tracking and how I can optimize it to track animals, persons or vehicle

build quality is top notch. can't believe how small this camera is compared to my 80d yet it feels solid in my hand. at first I was worried about battery life and while it certainly lasts less compared to an SLR, it offers plenty of power for a day of shooting. you might want to have a 2nd battery anyway. there's no battery grip option (at least for now) but I don't miss it. this camera is so small and comfortable to use that I wouldn't want to go back to a bigger camera.

The R6 and all the parts and accessories arrived in perfect condition and on time, I'm happy about this purchase

I splurged and bought the R6, bet decision of my life.

I read many reviews of the R6 and which almost had me go a different direction, but I'm glad I didn't. The R brings a different concept in terms of controls. It takes time to get used to that and many reviewers didn't like the new approach to controls, which is in a nutshell less physical controls, more customization and more control via the LCD. I can see where these reviewers are coming from, but if you spend the time to customize and get accustomed to the new controls the camera is actually very simple to operate and is a lot of fun.

Hands down the best camera I have ever owned. If professional cameras intimidate you this professional-lite camera is for you. If you're a vlogger, you cannot fail with this camera either, so much better than my old Cannon PowerShot 180.
