This is one of the best Canon I've ever used. The eye focus feature is so on point. The Image stabilization on this body for video is superb. I recommend this to anyone trying to switch from dslr to mirrorless.

The Cannon R6 is ideal for wedding videos; especially after the recent software update performs near godlike compared to other DSLR’s. It out performs the R5 in higher ISO low light situations... example being those crummy low lit ball rooms, gone is that crappy DJ up lighting rolling shutter effect, and the R6 has stunning face and eyeball tracking. 120fps at 1080p and shoots 4K like a total beast. The camera is what I coin as “canon dependable”,
it will always work, it will never fail, it is unrelentingly reliable, it has never overheated or failed on me since the software update. I have shot with Sony’s, Nikons, and Fuji’s... this R6 is so incredible I purchased two.
The autofocus works with even when using Ef to R mount adapters. In my line of work you need dependability and quality, something light weight to run and gun. This camera is the terminator of cameras. It’s literally the best thing ever made for wedding videos!

Great camera however the 20 mpixels is less than the EOS R at 30MP. This is not a problem unless you are really cropping in a lot. The deal breaker for me was the lack of saved settings in video mode. Not even 1 saved settings is allowed. So taking photos then hitting the video button only gives you auto video settings. You can’t save 1080 120fps which I do a lot.
This is a great camera, especially in night situations. If you like Canon DSLR, you must love also this mirrorless camera. The control system such as the aperture dial, shutter speed dial, ISO dial, and other bottoms position is almost the same as 5D’s. Therefore if you were a 5D user, you may find the same feeling to maneuver.
Verified Purchase I love my old Canon full frame but this new technology is absolutely mind blowing. They smashed a lot of technology in to this thing. I LOVE the touchscreen for changing menu settings, etc. Way easier than even the thumb joystick. Eye tracking autofocus, even with a cheap knockoff lens is incredible. Still testing and playing with it but this thing is killer.
