I have a 5DMark III, my wife bought R6 for me for this year Christmas. Compare to my old camera, R6 is much lighter and smaller with a better grip feeling when I touch it first time. I tested the R6 most time at night, the handhold stabilization is away better than 5D, I can handhold to shoot moon at 200mm and the get a very sharp image. At low light situation the camera + lens stabilization with 10000+ ISO still provide a very sharp no noise clear image (with 70 200 zoom range). The Dynamic Range is decent good (much more better than 5D. The color tone is slight not good as 5D mark IV but better than 5D mark iii. The shuttle is the fastest and quietest amount 6D 5D series camera I have ever used. I have no problem with the weather sealing follow by 6D. The Dual pixel II auto focus system is very fast and full screen range cover is amazing, but at certain situation camera can not focus on the low contrast horizontal line (this is a confirmed design default of Dual Pixel II auto focus system). The view finder is decent clear and it works even better at low light, 120 fps rate is great but under some slow flash rate night you will see the flick

I have been doing photography since I was 13. I'm 60 now. I have tried all makes of 35 km cameras, pentex, Olympus, minolta. Never had a film Nikon, too exspensive, but were the best at the time. Then I had my first Canon A1. Canon was never failed me and always gave me the shot, no matter what the conditions. Canon r6 is the best camera I have ever owned. I don't crop the deal out of my photos, so I don't need 50 mega pixels. I do need dynamic range and low light sensitivity. I can focus accurately even in low light that other cameras can't focus at all without focusing manually. You get some manufacturers defects like with all things on the market. But Canon, over all is your best choice. Stuck with canon for 40 years and never been disappointed.

The exact same sensor (with a different AA filter) as the 1DX Mark III, with 12/20fps burst shooting and essentially perfect autofocus and oversampled 4K recording that has never overheated for me with new firmware. It’s essentially a baby 1DX Mark III, and I love it. The R5 has some better features if your budget can swing it, but this is an amazing budget option. If you’re looking at the Sony A7iv, this is better due to its ergonomics and matches almost every feature Sony offers, with a better ecosystem (Canon’s L lenses are second to none.)

I absolutely love the R6 and the rest of the accessories. I do have to say that you may need larger SD cards though. Product itself is in perfect condition and was delivered fast.

This camera is incredible for sports and fast paced shooting. If you don’t have the money for a r5, this is a great choice. It has lower mp but still has the ability to punch in. Uses the rf mount, I would get the rf to ef adapter to expand lens choices. Autofocus is great, fast, accurate. Build quality is top notch, no creaking, and it’s solid.

this is one smart camera... upgraded from Canon 6D which has probably the worst AF of any camera made ever..... this thing is just nuts how many keepers I can get the FPS I love have a sports/action cam because I take it to lots of my kids sports events... sort of the team photographer. with out the dial on top to see your settings its really not a big deal its all displayed on the screen in back anyway. I am getting use to the buttons a little bit, on top near the shutter is a settings button so you can jump to your iso or drive mode etc and I tend to bump the video record instead but I just have to get more time with it. Focus stack works amazing love seeing that integrated into the camera itself. I secretly wish I had the R5's sensor for large landscapes which I love to print, but I have some really nice 20x30 at home already for the 6D which is similar in MP so I guess its not the end of the world. Still really happy with the performance.

EFV works as it should, focusing is smooth and quiet. I ALSO OWN THE mark 5D IV and Im amazed at how quiet the mirrorless shutter is on this. The body is midline, not the best but not cheap either, just get a cover and youll have extra protection. Rf lens is quick. My adaptor works nicely with EF lenses. Very fasy focusing!
