Way better than my old 5D III, the battery is something need to improve, and the HIF file is very hard to review in Windows system.
Excellent in every way!
Lives up to expectations. I bought the extended battery pack. Can't wait for summer!
Super fast and super flexible. Getting great experience and images with the unusually small and light 75-300mm lens and the “wildlife”
Came faster than expected. Highly appreciated!
still learning with it but I am happy overall with it
It's a beast.
You can do a considerable amount of research on cameras like this. Check out dp review owned by Amazon for detailed information. Oh wait, Amazon is shutting the site down. Best to buy cameras from a local camera store.
I've owned many cameras, DSLR and mirrorless, but this beast is exactly what every or any photographer capturing weddings, corporate events, and action shots should and must consider! Married with the RF lens, it's money all day long. Light weight, battery last a really long time. I highly recommend this camera, however somewhat pricely, you will get your money in return in little or no time.
People that complain about video… Should realize that this is a still camera first and foremost. Canon makes other bodies more suitable to video and you sure don’t need 45 megapixel for that. I’ve been a pro for 40 years (annual reports and editorial illustration), from film to mirrorless, and some amazing systems in many formats. I still love my 5D4 but, as I only shoot with Zeiss manual focus lenses, it’s gotten harder with non-interchangeable focus screens. I bought an R in 2018 after a stint with an additional Fuji system, and the focus peaking is just what I needed. The sensor is the same as the 5D4 which I know, and fits in my post processing flow. I picked up an R5 for ⅓ more data but mostly the IBIS. Only 2-axis on non-Rf lenses, but I’m happy. Quit complaining that a photographers camera isn’t the best for video. Buy a RED.
