The R10 is a small and Lightweight Camera that's great for fast Action sports like High School Basketball and Wrestling. The autofocus is fantastic for Tracking a Basketball player or a Bird. I bought this Camera for taking action sports photos and for Wildlife photography.
Keeping up with technology is never easy. This camera has made that exciting. Canon certainly has a winner with this mirrorless camera. We've been using Canon for many years and this R10 is great for our travel requirements and has never disappointed. Easy to use and light weight.
I was able to immediately begin taking fun photos, both close-up and with the zoom 18mm to 150mm digital lens. What a fun camera! Light in weight and easy to carry anywhere.
This is a suburb camera. At 26 oz it is a feather weight that is effortless to carry. A heavy camera is more likely to be left in the car or hotel room. Even if you are not a road warrior, this camera is a solid choice for all around photography.
super light kit. the lens kit is great for normal things. the camera is very lightweight. the pop out screen is amazing. i am very satisfied with this camera. i know it is advertised with only one battery, but i wish it would come with two. the software on the camera is extremely easy to use and i am very satisfied with the purchase.
I was looking for a camera that would capture everything I see and for once that is what I am able to do. I do a lot of wildlife photography and that can be the most difficult thing to do. For example, the photo of the Hairy Woodpecker was a point and shoot without time to make sure things were right. I thought for sure it would be blurry but ended up being one of my favorite shots.
I bought this to get into mirrorless without breaking the bank. I have two full frame and two crop frame DSLRs and was interested in higher fps and better focus without having to micro adjust lenses. All the focus options are going to be a learning curve for sure. I have several older EFS lenses and focus is immediate with no searching and my EF lenses are the same. Fifteen fps, mechancal shutter, in a camera in this price range is amazing. Subject tracking is going to be another learning curve but is a great feature. I am just a hobby and I think this body will suit me well.est
For a long time, I was not interested in learning or getting into camera-related stuff. I started to slowly get interested in photography with no knowledge in that area.. Since I wanted to start with photography and I do not want to spend more $$$ (due to a tight budget haha) I went with this camera and I am enjoying a lot with picture quality I will start learning more about photography with this little one. I have quite a lot of options for a beginner in this camera to explore the outdoor and indoor settings with photography. As far as the video I am gonna explore this camera with a trip that I have planned for later this year. I am super excited as well because so far the photo is super cool. I am trying to expand my options with this camera after learning more about the lens as well.
As someone who hasn't owned a true camera in over a decade and strictly relied on a cell phone for all my photography, I forgot how much of a difference proper photography equipment makes. With covid restrictions loosening up and vacation travel becoming easier, I bought this camera as a nice entry level mirrorless camera for my first vacation to Costa Rica. First thing that popped out at me was just how compact this camera was. Packing and carrying this camera around is a breeze! The kit lense for this camera is also great, providing a solid 2.5X total zoom with an additional 1.6 crop sensor magnification. The lense has a parked position that compress the lense to about the size of a nifty-50 lens, great for carrying in a sling bag. Having not used a camera in so long, after watching a few tutorial videos, I found this camera to be very intuitive.
