It certainly is faster but I do find it is too bulky and even though it has a large grip it is not easy to hold in smaller hands. The body is too wide. Otherwise it is well built but the form factor is a bit boring by now. They need to make this model smaller and slimmer. Fuji manages to make the XT-30 small yet cram it full of good features. I am a Canon shooter and have many models from beginner level to the 1Dx series. They need to start refreshing their product line. The touch screen is great though as well as the menu's. The control dial on the back needs to become more comfortable to turn AKA the 7D Mark II. Otherwise one can expect the same Canon color and quality. It's too bad that it takes them so longer to come out with the next model. That's why one would hope to see more significant improvements besides the increase in megapixels!
Excellent camera and well packaged by the vendor. Lots of buttons and features, more than we know what to do with but it will be an adventure learning them all. Lots of great YouTube channels with tutorials fit for novices like us. Built for the serious photographer but user-friendly enough to be handled by a beginner with plenty of room to grow into your new hobby.
This is the best bang for the buck I have every purchased. I like it more than my professional, full size sensor 5D MK III. I love the 4K video, which I use for MICROSCOPE WORK. It takes terrific pictures and the higher resolution over my 70D and 5D MK III really makes a difference. I already had all the lenses I need since I have stuck with Canon since my EOS 20D. The sensors and processors have also improved.
I am new to lens cameras. So far this camera is awesome. The only thing I don't care about is the wifi. It seems a bit slow and sending files. But that is all that I dislike.
I'm a newbie and am getting to take my first class soon to learn how to use the camera and get off automatic modes. I'm super excited. A photographer advised me to get this camera so can't wait to learn how to use it.
Good pictures nice size
Any camera is a bit of a compromise whether it is price, features, etc. After considerable time researching the myriad of choice ( they all will fit someone and be the right choice) the 90D is proving to be exactly what I wanted. Lighter than my 7D, higher fps, higher Megapixel sensor, newest DIGIC it fits what I need it to do. Whether it is the 90D or not, I hope everyone finds the camera that is right for them.
i upgraded from the 80D to the 90D. both are wonderful. 90D great fast action. easy once you understand everything. even easier with the auto settings for beginers. the 4K video quality is very nice. the sensors for the 4K are great with uneven light situation.
Really nice camera to take photos to the next level. Nice that the ef-s lens from my old rebel camera transferred over
