Not sure why I waited so long to pull the trigger on this one (probably weighed some of the negativity to heavily). I've been wanting a full frame camera for a while, and at this price couldn't pass it up. It's a great camera - easy to use, understandable guide book, easy set up. And the focus is lightning fast and accurate.
I'm smiling the whole time I shoot.
This camera has been a huge step in all of my photography dreams. The low-light capabilities are incredible and I love all of the AF points. If you're coming up as an advanced amateur or pro-level photographer that has been using lower model canon cameras, the transition is easy and the quality is spectacular. If you don't know or intend to learn manual mode, It's an excessive use of your money, but if you intend to really use it to it's potential it is a steal of deal!
I’ve owned this camera for less than a DAY and am head over heels for it. When deciding between the new Canon EOS 5D Mark III and an older 6D Mark II, I will consistently say that budget take priority. This camera is PHENOMENAL, image quality is great, and it’s well worth the investment and upgrade, without breaking the bank.
This is the lower end Full Sensor Camera for Canon and it is Amazing the Full Frame Sensor Draws Light In Like A Black Hole the photo above was shot at ISO 2000 with No Grain .... Now there is no such thing as Bad Light the 6D Mark II performs great.
If you are on a Budget and thinking of Upgrading to Full Frame this Camera is for you .
It does what I expected, nothing spectacular
This is my first full frame camera after using a T3i for a few years. I currently shoot portraits using the 50mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8 lenses. I continue to be impressed with the features on this camera, particularly the ability to connect via wifi and offload photos right to my phone. I would like it if some of the focus points were further away from the center of the frame, although it hasn't been too big of a deal. It was hard to pick between this and the 5DmkIII but I'm glad I ended up with this instead.
Coming from a EOS Rebel T6s, this is my first full frame camera. I am beyond impressed with both the camera, and the quality of the photos it produces. I bought this with the included 24-105 L kit lens. But used mostly with my 70-200L 2.8 and 100-400L F4 for nature photography. It's a great camera, and I really can't find many flaws with it worth mentioning. I use it often for astrophotography with my Celestron NexStar 8SE
