I'm a wedding and portrait photographer. I am always looking for great quality without having to drop ridiculous amounts of money. That's hard not to do in this industry lol. But I am so happy with this purchase, it has been nothing but amazing. I recommend this for beginners and for professionals. Maybe down the road I will bite the bullet and get a 5D Mark IV...but for now, I will continue purchasing this body!

I never write reviews, but I felt that I needed to for this camera. This camera has been ridiculed and highly controversial. I'm here to tell you that I love this camera. I have been using a 5D MKIII since 2012 and decided to buy the 6d MKII. I know it doesn't have 4k, blah blah blah.... I don't need it. Yes I have a 4k TV. I also have 4k on my phone. The 4k garbage is way overblown. This is a DSLR not a video camera.

It's so smooth and I love having IBS now with the 6D MKII. I love the new codec, and lightness that the body gives. I hope you will ignore the naysayers and give the 6d MKII a chance.

I'm loving the change from Crop (7D) to full. Better photos in low light has changed my photography. Now to figure out how to instantly upload to my web site and I'm good. It's a little slow on the Auto Focus but it's not a "deal breaker."

This is a big step up for me coming from a Rebel. Previously I was using at full frame Tamron lens with my Rebel, it was better than a kit lens but still did not perform too well. Once I got 6D MII the lens performed much better. I've been taking pictures non-stop. It inspired me to learn more about photography. Some reviews highlight the lack of 4K in video mode. I'm mostly interesting in still pictures so this it is not a problem for me. The low light performance is great (again I'm comparing to the Rebel I've had for a several years). Electronic level view is awesome. Previously my pictures were crooked, now I have a chance to fix it before taking a shot. Canon wireless capabilities is a nice feature. I can transfer pictures to my phone immediately if I want to post it somewhere immediately. NFS + adhoc wifi works every time

First full-frame camera I've own and I am truly happy. I've only had it for a month, and the back screen focus features are enough to buy this camera. Definitely an upgrade from my 7D

I am entering Week 2 of having my new camera and am enjoying every aspect of it. I love having the histogram back on the bottom (after having my 7D Mark II put it irritatingly on the side view). The ISO capabilities have been fantastic and I am enjoying the images coming out of my first full frame.

Because it is so new I haven't yet explored all the special capabilities, but discovered the touch screen LCD yesterday. I can see great possibilities with this!

The 6DMII was recommended to me by a professional photographer when I asked about the 5DMIV. For me, a serious hobbyist, I did not need the power of the 5D and this perfectly fits the needs I have while giving me a full frame experience.

What a great mid-level camera! I couldn't decide between this camera or a mirrorless one. Ultimately, I went with the old tried and true Mark II and I have zero regrets. I'm a traveling photographer and needed something sturdy enough to take on long haul flights.
