Since I purchased this product two years ago to film sporting play-by-play, I have not be disappointed! I have definitely used it for more than my initially intended use.

The camera takes great pictures and is very easy to use. The only disappointment is that it does not have a GPS that previous models did have.

Bought this for ease of use and got more than I bargained for. Fantastic image stablilization. I shoot a lot of extreme sports and it works great, never out of focus.

This new camcorders is a fantastic device and I highly recommend it for ease of use, high definition video and faithful color reproduction.

This review on the FDR-AX 53 Camcorder I purchased from this seller is probably one of the most expensive cameras I've ever acquired, and is also the most complicated with all of its functions, I'm still learning thanks to Utube. I purchased it to record Church Services, here in southwestern Arizona and from my personal observations of the camera it's everything and more than I could have expected. I've come to realize that it's a great point and shoot camera for recording Arizona highways from the front seat of my vehicle on all automatic settings, and then also using some of extra accessories that were in the bundle.

The Sony is everything other ratings and reviews claimed it is. The image is excellent and sound quality great. Really like the screen for viewing the video and making changes. I linked my Iphone to view the video remotely as well. Camcorder is easy to use. Can't say anything bad about it.
