I wanted a camera that would be straightforward for me to operate. In fact, because I struggle with technology, my small children are better at using it than I am. Everything needed to start filming can be found in this set. Includes a tripod, an SD cards, all required wires, a carrying case, and more.

It's also a terrific idea to capture family movies and films because kids and families change and grow so quickly. In the future, it will be enjoyable to laugh at how we were in the past.

The camera is super compact in size and lightweight. It nests easily in the palm of your hand and has a padded strap to hold it securely in place. It is comfortable to hold for long periods and does have the tripod as an option for extended, steady recording as well. I found it easy to use, with all the important controls right at my fingertips

I like to use this cam for capturing shorter videos of the wildlife that wander through the woods behind my home, or for attempting to record the bald eagles and other raptors I may see over the nearby river that meanders through downtown and elsewhere in this rural area. I haven't had too much of a chance to use it yet, but so far I'm satisfied with it.

The image quality is gorgeous, the photos are also crisp and clear.

I'm very amazed at the Infrared capability, it's very clear even in the dark.

I received a Canon XA65 with all the advertised SD cards, case, tripod and rest of the accessories.
